Rheela Kim, O.D.
Rheela Kim, O.D. was born and raised in San Diego, California. She received her B.A. in Psychology and Social Behavior from the University of California, Irvine. After graduating, she began a career in hospitality before realizing her true passion lies in serving patients through healthcare. Dr. Kim went on to earn her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of California, Berkeley, graduating with honors as a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society.
Dr. Kim completed her clinical training at a variety of diverse healthcare settings, including Highland County Hospital (Oakland, CA), Crow Indian Health Services (MT), Sacramento Society for the Blind, California State University, Sacramento Health Center, and William Omni Eye Services (NJ, NY).
Outside of seeing patients, Dr. Kim enjoys spending time with her husband and two kids. She loves to travel and finds joy in discovering new cultures through their food and art.
